Design
Definition of interface geometry, requirements and system integration constraints.
Unykonn customization model moves from technical need to serial production with responsiveness, discipline and engineering control.
The real value of a critical interface lies in its ability to perform reliably under real operating conditions.
Every design-in engagement follows a structured and controlled engineering process, ensuring consistency across applications, customer needs and geographic area.
This operational discipline enables predictable execution, reliable validation and long-term integration confidence.
Definition of interface geometry, requirements and system integration constraints.
Engineering of the interface according to media, pressure, temperature and assembly requirements.
Validation of sealing performance, mechanical resistance and functional continuity with high-tech technologies.
Functional prototypes for fitment, integration and performance assessment.
Controlled transition from validated solution to reliable supply.
Failures of quick connectors rarely happen during installation. They happen after thousands of pressure cycles, repeated thermal variations and real-world chemical conditions that theory alone cannot fully anticipate. Failure analysis usually points to the seal, but the actual root cause lies in the validation matrix that was not run.
Our validation protocols are not based on generic test sequences. They are structured around the specific operating conditions of each application, including factors such as media, pressure, temperature, vibration, and long-term service requirements. Our goal is to verify interface reliability under real industrial conditions before production begins.
The group has several laboratories around the world where it carries out a wide range of tests. In-house laboratories cover all test of SAE J2044 and 2045, including life cycle test. Testing procedures are managed internally to ensure controlled validation, reliable performance outcomes and greater efficency.
Life Cycle Tester for coolant, fuel and oil connectors and assemblies. Water/glycol mix and oil media, independent regulation of environmental and fluid temperature, pulsating pressure, fluid flow, random and sine vibration.
Pressure-decay leak detection under low pressure, high pressure and vacuum conditions. Used to verify sealing integrity and interface reliability before delivery.
Mechanical load testing for pull-apart resistance, side-load validation and structural reliability under demanding operating conditions.
Fully automatic cycle rig measuring assembly effort and pull-back-to-lock force across thousands of mate/unmate cycles.
Shore hardness testing on elastomer and polymer components to control material consistency and sealing performance.
Static fluid-compatibility bench with calibrated immersion baths for gasoline, diesel, AdBlue, glycol coolants, transmission fluids and dielectric fluids for EV thermal loops.
Climatic chamber for thermal cycling between −40 °C and +150 °C with controlled dwell conditions. Applied to verify differential expansion and thermally induced failure modes.
Optical Coordinate Measuring Machine for non-contact inspection of critical interface geometries, sealing features and GD&T tolerances.
When applications involve elevated operating stress — including battery thermal management, fast-charging cooling, energy storage and marine environments — the standard validation matrix is extended accordingly.
Additional validation procedures are introduced whenever application conditions exceed standard operating profiles.
Validation data alone is not enough. Every project is supported by structured documentation packages designed to provide traceability, technical consistency and release confidence throughout the approval process.
Complete validation records covering performance testing, inspection results, dimensional verification and material traceability aligned with industrial quality requirements.
Structured analysis of design and process risks, with corrective actions and validation procedures linked to critical operating conditions.
Material declarations and compliance documentation supporting environmental, regulatory and application-specific requirements.
2D / 3D technical files, dimensional specifications and controlled engineering documentation supporting production and integration activities.
Production and inspection procedures structured under controlled quality-management processes to ensure repeatability and outgoing conformity.
Controlled production and inspection data maintained throughout manufacturing, validation and shipment processes.
Unykonn's production lines are designed to ensure consistent assembly quality, controlled process parameters and repeatable performance across high-volume serial production.
From component handling to final assembly and inspection, automated processing minimizes variability and supports the transition from validated design to stable industrial supply. The result is greater production consistency, faster scalability and higher confidence in every interface delivered.
